While I was in high school, college, and graduate school I was a peer mentor and leader, tutor, and afterschool mentor in the STEM fields. I enjoy communicating my love of science and math and realize that every student learns differently. This passion developed into a part time position while I was pursuing my Ph.D. in Nanoscale Science, where I was able to assist the outreach coordinator in a variety of mentoring programs and STEM initiatives.
