Elite hockey is a professionally run program for players looking to improve and perfect their performance on the ice.
The program has an experienced, proven staff of college, high school and prep school teacher coaches who, as clinicians, have been handpicked to work with the Elite program.
Elite hockey is currently held at Norwich, where players get the opportunity to dress and skate on the Cadets' ice surface.
"It is a great program; they offer both on and off-ice help to the kids which will help perfect their performance in their upcoming season," said Igor Martinez, a camp counselor and member of the Norwich ice hockey team.
The sessions at Norwich are designed to utilize the higher caliber of play from each player. But more importantly, it's motivated and committed to learning and improving skills and knowledge.
"The kids get a chance to see what it is like to live the college lifestyle. They would have a set schedule where they would eat, skate and partake in group activities much the same as the college students do who go here," said Greg Eskedjian, a group counselor of Elite hockey and member of the Norwich hockey team.
The camp also offers a specialized goalie program. The goaltenders development program is designed to maximize each goaltender's potential.
"The camp is great because it gives the goalies a chance for some one-on-one time with a counselor, which many other camps don't offer," said Nate Ayotte, a goalie instructor for Elite and member of the Norwich hockey team.
The camp has an endless number of top-notch players and coaches at both a professional and college level.
