A close to fall semester
We can see the finish line! Only a few days left in the hectic end of the fall semester. This is also a hectic end to a semester for us here at The Guidon. This is the last issue of the semester and, unfortunately, the last issue for out adviser, Susan Youngwood. She has been the adviser to The Guidon since 2007, bringing her experience in the field and fresh ideas to our publication. We would like to thank her for her time and dedication to improvement on the paper, and we would like to congratulate her on what we believe is our best semester as a paper. We also wish her luck and success in the future! Susan, you will be missed!
We would next like to welcome our new adviser, Andrew Nemethy. He has been involved with journalism in Vermont for a long time and has had articles in Sports Illustrated, Seven Days and other publications. We look forward to working with you next semester!
For everyone else, we hope you can get all your work and studying in and that finals go smoothly. And for seniors, we're almost done. If you need motivation, check out the countdown clock in The Mill! Have a great winter break.
