At the Middlebury vs. Norwich game on Jan. 24, students were spotted holding up issues of the Guidon during the announcement of Middlebury’s starting lineup. When it was over, someone I have never talked to turned to me and said, “Do you know what’s so funny that the other team doesn’t know?”
I replied, “No, what?” He then said, “The other team doesn’t know how stupid we think ‘The Guidon’ is!”
After hearing this honest opinion, I wasn’t upset, but started thinking how we could improve. I would like to know what YOU want to see in the paper. This is a student newspaper for you about your school, your campus and your teams. The student who said this to me probably won’t read this, but if you do, let us know what you want to see in the paper. We work hard to get this issue to you twice a month, and would like to know that people are reading it.
