Change the PT route

From a civilian standpoint, it seems like there has been much complaining about the Corps of Cadets and their morning PT schedule and routes that they take.

It has been much anticipated to get civilian students off the Upper Parade Ground for years now, and now that civilian students (with the exception of two floors in Dodge) have their own dorms the Corps can use the UP as they so desire.

Now what is getting under civilians’ skins is that the corps still decides to run a PT route in front of Crawford Hall and along the access road in front of South Hall at 6 a.m.

There are many other routes that are available for running and screaming while the corps exercises.

Civilian students are aware that this is a military school and most students do respect that, but the corps needs to understand that the same common courtesy is expected from the corps to the civilian students.

Look for a more in-depth story in a future issue of the Guidon.
